The length of the necklace is 18.5 inches (47 cm). The size of the smooth round beads is 12mm.
The color of the beads is unusual, with a silk effect. Charoite color is non-uniform and can change its tone at different angles. Its color varies from purple to lilac violet.
The color is authentic and natural. No thermal or other mechanical treatments no were used. Lovely!
The necklace is fastened with a unique sterling silver box clasp with a natural charoite.
Beads knotting is traditionally done with silk thread, placing a knot between each bead to prevent them from rubbing against each other.

Charoite gem mining occurs only in Russia. Its deposits are located only in the Aldan Shield, Sakha Republic, Siberia.
