Presenting an exquisite Victorian festoon garnet necklace measuring 18 inches (46cm) in length. The necklace showcases a captivating display of pyrope garnets, renowned for their deep red hue, commonly known as "Bohemian Garnets." During the Victorian Era, these prized rose-cut garnets were meticulously arranged to envelop the entire piece, creating a stunning effect.

The necklace is in excellent antique condition. All garnets are original and in undamaged condition.

Victorian ladies loved Bohemian garnets (pyrope) because of their vibrant, deep, pomegranate red color and unique, stunning design.

This necklace is an excellent example of accessories from that period.
